Les Brown gives his thoughts on Multi-Level marketing

Here is a a quote from a fantastic video, which features Les Brown, a prominent, world-renowned public speaker, being interviewed by MLM Business Advisors' very own Dennis Edwards. Dennis' question for Mr. Brown was "Why is it a good time to start an MLM or networking business today?" Here is what Mr. Brown had to say:

“Well, its always a good time, because what people know is that there is no such thing as job security. USA Today reported that millions of people for the past year have been looking for jobs [that are] not there. The jobs [that have] been lost through cheap labor abroad and technology, those jobs are not going to be replaced. When you look at multi-level marketing, it gives you an opportunity to be in business for yourself and not by yourself and then carve out a life for yourself. You'll be able to demonstrate your own leadership. You build strategic relationships. You learn how to manage yourself, manage your business and manage other people. It's the best of all worlds and I encourage people to do it. I developed my skills years ago in an organization called...I've done 'em all, and I would not be the person that I am today had it not been for multi-level marketing. I call it 'interactive distribution', being a distribution channel and touching people's lives and changing people's lives, so it's a great time always.”

Mr. Brown is absolutely right; now is the perfect time to get involved in starting a multi-level marketing business.  During recessions, many new businesses are created and decades later are some of the powerhouses in today's business world.  The same holds true for MLM's, and now is the perfect time to establish your own pathway to financial freedom.  We as MLMBA are continuously developing our businesses and are looking for those with the drive and determination to succeed to grow with us.

Every Journey Has Its Beginning

Recently, I have gone through some profound life changes that were not expected.  I had lost my dismal job (which is one of the best things that could have happened), and they're crooks anyway so I have no love lost.  Sarah and I are taking a break temporarily and I have since moved out of the house.  You would think that anyone would be depressed, losing your girl, your job and your living quarters all in the course of a few weeks.  Although everything may sound bad, I just can't look at it that way.  That is only because I made some decisions that have already taken my life in a profoundly positive new direction.
A few weeks before receiving an email on a Sunday from my boss, letting me know that my services are no longer needed with nothing further written, I was introduced to a concept that was not entirely foreign to me however I approached it with some skepticism.  I had heard about these things before, these "network marketing" companies, and although I never descredited the idea it never seemed like something I'd be interested in.  I always thought that I'm "not in sales", but the truth of the matter is that most of us ARE in sales, whether it be direct or not.  And even if you're not selling a product, you in essence sell yourselves in some way, shape or form every day.
After speaking with my now fellow associate Mr. Jim Shelvy about network marketing, and after doing some in-depth hardcore research, I decided to take the plunge and finally sign up for one of these things.  I felt as if I had gathered enough information to make a decision that I had no idea at the time would be probably the biggest decision in my life.  I'm only finding out now (and this is just the tip of the iceberg) that my decision has put me on a path of no return (which is awesome).
I had the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas last weekend and learn from some very inspiring people about how my decision will now take me on a journey that seemed unimaginable just a few weeks ago.  It's currently 3:08 am as I type my very first of a continuing series of blogs, and I'm up this late because we just arrived back to Phoenix from Los Angeles not too long ago.  You would think that I would be tired, sitting in the back seat for 5 1/2 hours, barely sleeping as I just sat and listened to music, thinking about what I had experienced this weekend.  I just can't sleep, because never in my life have I been so inspired after a series of weekend seminars, hearing some of the most successful people I have ever met speak to us over the past 14 days.
My head right now is crammed with so much information that I feel totally compelled to write about it, and I know that I will be able to sort out some of my thoughts by typing this blog.  I also get to tell my story and hopefully start inspiring others to take the actions necessary to break out of the bubble of life that is influenced  upon them by the society that surrounds us.  Of course, there is a lot to tell and never enough time in the day to tell it all, which is good for me because I have so much to write about!!
Well, I think the sleep factor is starting to come on so it is time to close my first blog.  I'm very excited to finally be up and writing, as it has been a while since I was last blogging on MySpace.  Tomorrow I will tell you all about our company and how we are showing others how to be inspired and to start living for their future and not be stuck in the past.  I also want you to check out this video my fellow co-founder Dennis Edwards had shot while we were in LA this weekend that you can see on Youtube by clicking on this link.  If you guys know who Les Brown is, you can appreciate how powerful his statement is. If not, please visit his website by clicking here.  Please, subscribe to my blog so you can get a first-hand account of the fantastic journey that I have embarked on!  Thanks again for reading, and I look forward to later on!
